December 8th: Creek recon, caught 40 plus bass and found these
Mammoth teeth.
Found some awesome wood also for water gardens.
September 2013: Venice dive, found a few teeth. just hour after asking if anyone ever finds a spear point, one was found- mile plus off shore!
Found this 2nd half of a 5 3/4 inch meg in my Honey Hole in
creek, hunted it last 4 years ago and found the left side, then just as I saw a
long tail
of a mega fauna laying beside me.....I find this at the moment I was about to
dart....saw a white edge, grabbed it and left. the Gator never moved.
May 30th, 2013: Last dive of the year?, rains starting early.
May 28th, 2013: Another mammoth tooth.
May 27th, 2013: Took out some family out for the day.
May 26th 2013: Found the other half of a 5 3/4 inch megs- four
years later.
May 22, 2013: River recon, couple hours out, Nice jaw piece, I
sure would like that tooth.
Already hunted this three times, then running my hand is the sand
and I hit something hard, went back and fanned it out- more Mammoth teeth!
May 19th 2013: River recon north honey hole, again found great
stuff. some really nice red teeth just out of the jaws.
May 14th 2013: River recon, Found another spot with Mammoth
teeth.
May 10th 2013-Finished Water Garden, 1.5 years of
work......
042813: River recon- a little fishing before the next fossil hunt.....
After a rebuild of the airboat engine, new seats and electrical
upgrades.....nice!
April 2013: Not much time for fossil hunting with the new water garden at the
new house.....maybe some day soon!

You can no longer remove artifacts from Florida
rivers.
But you can remove fossils with a fossil permit from the state.
